Star. Gun. Young. Improving. Unstoppable.

What more could you ask for?

Lock.

Even at that price, he's worthy of a spot in anyone's midfield. Still yet to reach his potential as he is still young, nearing his prime.
I think you've just convinced me....lock.

What more could you ask for? How bout Deledio? 17 tons, bigger ceiling, and with all the taggers focusing on Cotchin, should smash it. If i pick a Richmond mid it wont be Cotchin. :P

Lids is definitely flying under the radar! could be a great POD with most people locking in Cotch  :P

Ricochet

surely teams will still look to tag Lids before Cotchin?

Cotch became increasingly tagged towards the end of the season, but we saw against Fremantle that teams will still sometimes opt to tag lids instead

I think next season well see lids get a few more tags because cotch is getting to the point of tags not working On him while lids definitely can be tagged! Just like Carlton wit Judd and murph, teams will try to curb cotch's influence by tagging lidsy next season imo

Tyes

Behind Swan, Ablett, Pendles and Murphy for me at the moment. If I go a 5 premo mid he will be locked though. I think the write up is spot on and he will be one of the top mids next year and in my team at some point. I just feel out of Swan, Pendles, Murph, Ablett and Cotch he will be the one most likely to drop a bit during the season. I could be wrong and eating my words in 9 months time though.

Staying away from these young guns, after what happened with Rockliff this season.

Barring injury, there is no chance that Cotchin's 2013 will be anything like Rockliff's 2012. If any Richmond mid spends more time forward next year it almost certainly will be Dustin Martin.

Cotchin won't play forward like Rocky. Cotch is more classy as a midfielder than Rocky was.

+1, especially if he's captain their not gonna have him sitting up forward doing sweet flower all are they? they'll have him leading from the middle.

He is very tempting, but the final price will make or break it for me.  Too far above the $500k mark means he will need to consistently belt out big tons to maintain price.  Would love to start with GAJ, Watson, Murphy and Cotch.

Yeah, I've currently got Swan, GAJ, Pendles & Murph....would love to squeeze in Cotch, but Murph and Pendles are both undepriced, while Swan & GAJ are must-haves.

Phasir

just Pendles, Murphy & Cotchin to start the year for me I think, I like having a "set & forget" backline, a lot of hassle trying to upgrade smokey backmen these last few years.. easier to start with 5 premos back there from the start
