Sorry zip but yeah am pretty passionate! Haha. To blame this year on injuries is looking at the surface only - and obviously shows you don't watch the way the blues have played! Sorry mate but I must disagree with you on this..

Bluesman I dont even barrack for Carlton and I understand more about your club than you do.

Carrazzo
Murphy
Warnock
Henderson
Simpson
Jamison
Laidler
Tohey
Hampson
Judd
Duigan
(ive probably missed some)

All spending weeks on the sidelines. Take out that many starters from any team and good luck being a top 4 side like you seem to still expected they should be. Having depth is one thing but covering a number of stars at a time is another

No idea mate...and you can't read!! Not once did I ever say I believe we were a top 4 team. It's just I analyse things more deeper than you. Those players were not out the same time! Sure they will hurt us not playing..as they did eventually! That was my point!! In 5 and a bit years Ratts did not set up  a plan B/structure to cover ... Ala malthouse at Coll. The number of consistent injuries hurt in the end but the lack of endeavour and poor positional decisions etc...once again set in from rd 4 against essendon...like the past few years.

Sliam

Pretty much every team in the top 4 has had injuries to crucial players (except maybe Adelaide's easy draw)

Please learn to use punctuation. It actually hurts trying to read your posts... And no, one comma near the end of the post does not count! ;)

He has a track record of doing so with other clubs...

Ratten was not going to coach us to a premiership (easily said in hindsight) strategically he was terrible, a one trick pony in that department, any Carlton supporter that saw the Pt Adelaide game earlier in the year would agree watching a three hour Justin Bieber concert is less painful, wet slippery ground and all night we bombed shallow forward 50 entries to the resting ruckman who was out numbered two and three to one, he too often sticks with the original game plan/style while great coaches adapt/adjust on the fly

No one has listened to me about this but I agree with you in that I always said that Ratten was able to change the game plan at the changes but could never react during the game. Ratten is a great of the Carlton club and I would never knock him but this was my big annoyance with him.

Caro Wilson stung Mick this week in The Age about his book commitments, pffft Caroline, the man had some serious shower on his plate you daft turnip!

But tonight Malthouse in  the post match wrap up of Collingwood v Sydney I really sense a Matlhouse of uncertainty, a fear of failure.

Maybe Mick is scratching, clawing, at the hope of redemption. Maybe all he needs to do is stick it up Eddie?

Well..over to you Mick... :-\

There is one thing that people should be aware of when Mick is involved with a club, for better or worse 'it's all about Mick'.

RiOtChEsS

"being all about Mick" has panned out reasonably well for all the clubs he has coached!

as far as coaching im a fan, as for the way he conducts himself at times not so much...
