Yeah he's definitely on my radar now. Him and Jono O'Rourke from GWS are likely to take M9 and M10 at this stage.
Tyson will still probably be $200k+, you know that?  :o

Only played 3 games this year, so he'll get a good discount. I'd expect him to be around $150-$200k. Not a lot of good youngsters out there this time around that have played footy for that price in this years draft. Would expect Tyson to at least average 75+ at Melbourne depending on his role.
True, I'm not denying he's top value, but would he seriously be M9 for your R1 team?  :o

M7/8 then haha. I'm more of a SC'er so I have him around there at the moment but it's all skeptical at the moment not all set in stone mate hahah. I do know that O'Rourke will definitely be in my team next year.

Dom's worth a look, but you'd probably be better off opting for big Viv Michie instead.

That's where i disagree, i believe Dom could have an average of 80+ this season at the dees but i think it will take Michie a few years in the AFL system before hitting decent DT scores

From an output point of view you are right, but Viv could easily avg 70 with the dees if he gets some mid time and starting around 100k vs dom at 200-250k, viv is way better as a cash cow.

In my eyes Viv won't play more than 12 games next season where Melbourne have compared Tyson to Scott selwood and tom rockliff which logically means that he will play most games next season. Its too early to tell but both Dom and Viv show great value and can be good PODs!

Both are locked!!!!!

Anyone else locking in one or more of D Tyson, V Michie or A Riley this season?
Could post some good scores (if selected for VM/AR) and basically rookie priced.
I could see some serious coin being made from the Melbourne midfield in 2014.

Wouldnt say locking. But michie and Tyson are on my team at the moment. Pending round 1 selections.. Npt sure about riley if he will get games/even score well.

Riley was a pretty prolific ballwinner in the SANFL and has apparently recovered from the broken leg he sustained mid season.
Either way, you'd think none of the three I mentioned will receive much attention from opposition taggers.

Oh cool. What was his sanfl ave, if you know by any chance? If they all start round 1 then theres a chance they could all be in my team. Dont think id field all 3 but. Maybe 2 out of the 3.

Sorry, I don't have his SANFL averages on hand (got the info from a mate in SA who's a big Sturt fan). AFL Prospectus speaks highly of him but doesn't have any SANFL numbers either.
