Before you vote, consider the following points.
- He scores the same amount of points for both DT and SC, averaging 5 more SC points which is about average. That is why this poll is about both DT and SC, he is a great scorer for both comps when at his best.
- He turns 28 in 2 months, so he will be 28 for the whole of the 2013 season. (Swanny was 28 in 2012)
- He averaged approximately 100 SC and DT points if you take out his sub affected games and his games where he got limited game time due to coming back from a long term injury.
- After his bye when he started to become fit after his injury, in 11 games he only dropped below 97 twice , with 7 tons and a 99 and 97. (His other two were 89 and 53).

Gun when fit, will you consider him for 2013?

Not unless he changes clubs.
Melbourne are a bit of a basket case

Agreed. Actually, get him in the last 5 or so games of the year, thats when he decides to pull his finger out and get a contract renewal lol

I think this decision should be based on Melbourne's trading activity i.e. whether they get experienced midfielders. If that is the case, then perhaps he could be a great pick

No blacklisted him after last season when he got himself suspended during SC finals last year
Him coupled with restings and players sent off for various surgeries cost me finals since 2 trades can only cover so much.

Kellogscrunchynut

Would only consider getting him in the last week to mess with any opponents heads.

Lock!
Average is severely affected by his games returning from that serious spine injury....so underpriced.

Ricochet

definitely considering him this year

the comment about picking him for last 5 games is spot on!! does it every year!

but he did have some big sub affected scores. if the price is right and if i'm feeling extreemly ambitious i might start him.

but he has to have a picture puuuurrrrrfect pre season - no tweaks, no sorness he has to be firing rd 1 for any consideration. to add to that, if melb have a tough draw first 5 or so games i won't even think about it!!!
