A supremely fit young man, now deceased. Puts all of our relatively minor problems into some context.

Collingwood, in a way, will feel the tragedy with more impact. John was blooded through the Collingwood system and had more intrinsic attachment to the Magpies.

Sad, nonetheless.

A minute's silence before this round's finals matches seems appropriate as a mark of respect.
