a player who was ready to take the next step in his career and something like this happens......

heartbreaking for those that gave him the opportunity but even more so to those
that have stuck by him in the good times and when times were tough

condolences to the family and friends who should regard him as a person who was willing to commit himself to the sport as a youngster to become good enough for a second round draft pick

then to developing his role for his team at AFL or local level during his stints and Collingwood and Port Adelaide

even though I am a Crows fan and do not like Port, I still cannot help but be saddened by this death. Had the world at his feet and his career was just starting to take off. No matter which team you support you cannot help but feel for the club, his family, his friends and his teammates. They say that the good die young, and this guy seemed like a ripper bloke.
