Jarryd Blair - Collingwood Magpies

Position: FWD

Price: $375,400 (Fanplanner)

2011 Games: 21

2012 Games: 20

2011 Average: 71.1

2012 Average: 79.4

2012 Tons: 2

Summary: Coming into the Pies side as a regular in 2011 the 21 year old hybrid half-forward has the ceiling as seen in round 14 with 133 against the Dockers. Another improvement similar to the 8 point jump seen last year could prove instrumental in Blair's leap to premium forward status. Just needs to remove the odd sub 50 game. A matter of time in my opinion.

Verdict: If it weren't for so many other budget forward line players, I'd be on.

Ele's prediction: Fairly confident on this one - 85.

Kellogscrunchynut

I rate him although I don't see him in my team since there are better options.

KoopKicka

If there werent so many other options....

Adamant

Yep, so many underpriced/mid-priced fwds this year....no room for Blair unfortunately.

Capper

His deviation is way too high. Low of 46 high of 133 this year.

Is tempting at that price but i dont think so

Shihan7

Awkward price for what he's likely to average...

Colliwobblers

Not DT relevant at this point.

I think he will be balls replacement. I thought sidebottom initially but I think Blair is developing into the nuggetty tough in and under little scrubber that Ball is and will be the natural replacement once Ball retires.

Windigo

Is a good player, but IMO I don't think he ever will be elite. Just a really honest player, just not for DT I'd think.

Happy to be proven wrong of course.  :P

Adamant

Yeah, still too inconsistent to consider and that price is a bit of a turn-off.
I thought he averaged a little more than 79 though...
