David Zaharakis - Essendon Bombers

Position: FORWARD

Price: $392,900 (Fanplanner)

2011 Games: 22

2012 Games: 13

2011 Average: 88.2

2012 Average: 83.2

2012 Tons: 4

Summary: Had an incredible second half of 2011 where he averaged 98.8 after round 12 and was looming as a lock for me in 2012. Although he seemed to have been underdone in the pre-season he had a slow start to the year I penciled him in after Christiansen went down in round 7 he looked like he had hit his straps and was on track for another brilliant season. Then the dreaded injury struck and left me wondering what could have been, when he eventually came back in the later rounds of the season his scores were underwhelming compared to his best.

Verdict: Now is the time for Zaharakis to show the AFL world what he is made of and I am confident that he will achieve this and become a fantastic pickup for 2013.

My Predicted Average: 95

Got Zaha in at about 390k...didnt drop below 90 once for me....and then he does his quad  :(
Good chance of making my team.

Also, his scores at the end of the year (after returning from injury) have lowered his average from mid-90's to 83...bargain!

Yeah when I saw the low scores, I started licking my lips :P

so many discounted fwds next year, will definitely including zaha.
could easily push a 90 average

Should be great this year, after what would've been a good year this year, except for that injury that dragged on. He was on track for a great 90+ average season, and hopefully he can continue it into next year!

Currently in my side... No more 50 meter torps though okay mate!?

Will be under priced.  :D

And really worth a huge look if the Bombers sort out their injury woes next year.  ::)

Footy_Boiz

In my side at the moment but could make way for others depending on dpp allocation

Yeh on my radar, but don't think I can start with him

Had him until his injury this season. Like the way he goes about it. My only concern is how Essendon's trading / drafting might affect his role. Dons obviously looking to add some class to their mids, which might see Zaha continue to come in and out of the midfield. Will wait and see before locking him in.
