There is still no way I'll be starting with him!! Might remotely think about him as an upgrade target if he's going alright.

Going to be a Defender/Forward which I'll make him even more tempting   ::)

Ohh yeah, forgot about that! Especially with Bocky and Staker likely to have D/F!

Definitely considering now, I will watch with interest over the NAB cup but probably won't start him.

Broughton's move has made Duffman even more of a lock! Check this out:

Paul Duffield

Average between rounds 1-16 = 79.1

*Broughton out for the season rounds 17+

Average between 17-23 = 101.8

With Broughton at the GCS, Duffield could be in for a 90+ average....lock!

Yeah good stat Ad!

Reasonable price as well, will definitely look at him but it could be hard to fit him in with Goddard, Grimes and Gibbs locked for me...

All aboard the Gregory Train! ;D

QuoteBroughton has made a name for himself in defence and it’s a role he likely to continue playing for the Gold Coast SUNS after an initial chat with coach Guy McKenna, something Broughton is quite comfortable with.

“For most of my career I have played in defence, so my main preferred position is in the back line,” he said.

I had a quick chat to Bluey after everything was done, and he eluded my role will primarily be down back with some stints in the midfield if required.

Whats the world coming to??

......l find myself seriously considering having both Broughton and Duffman in my team  :o

Kellogscrunchynut

Broughton could average anywhere from 50 to 100+ next season whatever position the suns play him in will be closely monitored.

I had them both last year. That's why I did badly :P

I think he's shown that played in the right position, he can score quite freely. Add to that that he may be back/forward, would definately make him worth a look. ( even though iv'e been burnt a few times :-\ )
