Don't think even Bucks would be stupid enough to say 'Right, our best midfielder from last year 22 year old Dayne Beams spending more time forward will certainly help his development and improve our chances of winning games next year'. Should not and will not play more time forward (not saying he won't play any time forward, because even the great Dayne's of this world need rests, just saying his midfield time will not decrease).

don't think Ball will affect him

Ball will pretty much replace Wellingham's scoring

Boyd, Watson or Beams?

Tough one! I'd go Boyd - is ultra-durable and just so consistent on pping out massive scores.

That being said, Beams has more scope for improvement!

Watson I'm steerin clear of, just don't trust him as a DT'er for some reason :o

Predicted averages - Boyd 112, Beams 109-117, Watson 110

Scrads

Still has not moved from my team since day one...

Colliwobblers

I'm having Beams and Boyd, with a dash of Swan and a splash of Ablett.

Delicious

then its a matter of whether to play a 5th elite of one of those mid priced temptations... or two....

a lot of that will depend on how convincing the mid priced defenders and forwards prove to be over nab cup also.

tbagrocks

I heard he has just invested in Potato farming ??? ::) :o :P

No Pendles Coll??

Colliwobblers

no pendles, if he is top 8 by round 13 he will come in as last mid8 upgrade in round 14.

if he is significantly better than beams over the first 5-8 i'll swap them earlier - but can't go into round 13 bye with more than 3 elite mids out in that one bye round. especially not when 2 are captains in Ablett and Swan...

I do  ;D

me too  ;D

and me :)

And me! ;D

(for the moment at least ;))

Count me in as well. Just squeezed Beamer in then.

Swan, Ablett, Beams, Boyd, Pendles + Wines, Lonergan, K.Mitchell (Crouch, O'Meara) sure looks strong. :o

Colliwobblers

delicious midfield but it is going to kill you in round 13.

but maybe not if you have 3 trades each bye round to use no reason you wont have all or some spare in round 12 (after round 12) to sideways trade a couple of these 4 out ...

then just to get them back in again after round 13...

shouldn't be a problem as you would think teams will be fully upgraded by round 11-13 anyway with 2 trades a round and one extra in 11-13...

i will have to do some sums. i would love to start all 4. and Boyd for me.
