Spinking

Didn't realize his previous averages were so high. Now seriously reconsidering!

I suppose I see the same issue with Embley, that I see with Ball. While they've been away their clubs have allowed new players to fill the gap who have excelled. They may go back to a similar role, but I doubt it.

Will be watching NAB cup role before locking in...

Hate to be picky but he is valued at $263,900 in the Fanplanner .. Regained full fitness by the time finals came around and scored 121 vs the Roos in the Qualifying Final and 93 vs the Pies in the Semi-Final.

That was before the FP adjustment a while back ;)

Massive bargain at 240k...looked great today and is a good chance of making my team at M5  :)

Forget Luke Ball, Embleys where its at. :P
why not jump on them both.

Haha yeah, I just prefer to have 4/5 x 110+ mids from the start...dont have to waste a trade upgrading the mid-pricer.

Yeah last year I went 4 and a mid-pricer (McCarthy, RIP) but this year I really like the idea of starting 5 110+ers.

Swan, GAJ, Beams, Murphy, Pendles are my 5 leading candidates atm with the hope that Murphy and Pendles being a tiny bit underpriced will conserve a very small amount of $$ :/

What starters are on your radar ?

I've got Swan, GAJ, Pendles, Murphy as my 4 atm - really like Pendles & Murph's value. Not sure if I'll run with 5 premos :-\

If I did start with 5, then I would have to either downgrade my backline smokey, Duffman to Bock or Stevie J to Gray. My 5th would be Beams, but I would be screwed with the byes...so probably Cotch :P

I think Swan/Pendles/Beams will be worth the donut in their bye round. Problems will start arising if Murphy and/or GAJ end up sharing the same bye :-X

And on that note I am up to 1000 posts :)

See you all in the coaches section ;)

Yeah the way these byes end up could throw a spanner in the works for a lot of plans. The only way I see myself picking a mid pricer like Embley is if the byes are completely screwing us over. Locking Gaz and Pendles at this stage with the rest being very bye round dependent

Just one of the reasons why I am waiting to plan my team :)

If fit and play well in Nab im on both  :P

Salary cap left: $37,900.

Brendon Goddard, Jack Grimes, Bryce Gibbs, Dyson Heppell, Nathan Bock, Sam Docherty, Brent Staker
Jasper Pittard, Sam Colquhoun

Gary Ablett jnr, Trent Cotchin, Scott Pendlebury, Marc Murphy, Luke Ball, Andrew Embley
Jack Viney, Jaeger O'Meara

Todd Goldstein, Matthew Leuenberger
Joe Daniher, Majak Daw

Lance Franklin, Mitch Robinson, Dustin Martin, David Zaharakis, Robbie Gray, Mark LeCras, Mitch Morton
Brent Macaffer, Tom Lee

If you look at this team and count Bock and LeCras as keepers there are only 6 upgrades to make. If you dont have mid pricers you have rooks, they still need to be upgraded.

That sounds good but I think Ball and Embley will have their prices pushed up a bit like Hayes this year, meaning you will need to downgrade somewhere else to be able to afford both of them. I'm only going with one of them,
