At this stage, Pendles is probably the most locked premium in my side :o
Lol you can have degrees of lockedness?  :P

Still not entirely convinced he will be a starter in my side, I like Murphy better due to the pies midfield depth I can just see Murphy averaging more. As I said earlier definitely will be an upgrade target though.

Pendles is underpriced. Lock 'n load!!!

Not a DT player for me. Had him all season in 2012, but he looked like he would average 40 possessions a game in the nab cup...

Reality kicked in and he didn't. LOCK for SC, and he might get my M5 spot in DT this season ( I'm starting 5 mid elite) but only if I am not sold on all the blokes I have ahead of him, and there are a lot.

Just doesn't rack up the DT points like the true sluts do, but uses the ball well and turns games and thus is a SC must. DT pass.

Pendlebury is easily a top 6 mid and is underpriced for what he is likely to do. Calling him a SC only player is crazy, he racks up big DT numbers and even with an injury affected season still managed a 110 average. Sure he may be even more suited to SC but hat by no means makes him a poor choice in DT

didn't say a "poor choice" just unlikely to pick him over swan and Beams for DT and can you have 3 Pies midfielders?

I suppose you can if you want 2012's, 1st 3rd and 7th highest averaging players.....

I stand corrected, I had pendles all year in both DT and SC did not realize how high he averaged, must have only noticed the bad times....

I guess it depends how much you want Beams. Personally I rate Pendles ahead of him, at least to start with. If Beams does start to dominate and rack up big numbers there's a reasonable chance he could cop a tag, and from what I remember of last year the few times he did get tagged it seemed to slow him down a bit. Another issue is its the first good season Beams has had (he didn't play enough games the year before when he also averaged well) whereas Pendles is a proven performer and most likely underpriced, I struggle to see Beams getting any better and personally I rate Pendlebury ahead of him.

For his price I also have Pendlebury ahead of Swan. I don't see Swan being worth the extra 100k+ over Pendles when generally Pendlebury can come fairly close to achieving similar numbers. Feel free to correct me but I'm pretty sure that Pendles only had one real bad game against Carlton until he broke his leg and was probably close in average to Swan up till that point.

I dunno to me Pendles is a lock but I guess it's fair enough to leave him out if your set on Ssan and Beams

Meanwhile, star midfielder Scott Pendlebury left the training track early today after speaking with coaching staff.   ???

Hopefully everything is alright didnt expect to read that at the bottom of an article about Daisy

Pendlebury was second to only Swan in 2011, 2012 he was expensive and an upgrade target

2013 he is underprised, why make him an upgrade target when he will increase in value ???

Also it's the 10th of January, leaving the training track doesn't worry me, still two months from round one ;D

Mr.Craig

Maybe he finally got an offer on that cottage he's selling. Or he was suffering Twitter withdrawls. Or needed to do a poo.

For an extra 11k you can get Watson who averaged 118 in his first 8 games!
