"BRENDAN Whitecross will take no further part in season 2012 and faces a lengthy period on the sidelines with confirmation he has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.

Whitecross lasted just minutes against Collingwood in Friday night's qualifying final before injuring the knee.

Hawthorn football manager Mark Evans has told Melbourne radio SEN on Saturday morning scans have confirmed the injury."

shocking luck for whiteX, plenty of depth at the Hawks tho, a shoe in for the flag I reckon.

Sucklings ball use is special, he isn't Birchall yet, but he will be better, he uses it well most of the time and has awesome penetration. not just distance but low hard flat passes like bullets.
