Accepted: Helps me short term, although I lose literally all my depth.
3 guys averaging 100+ aged 26,26 and 22. Plus an 86 average 23yr old on the improve for three guys with 2 seasons left.
Good for me short term, Good for Nails long term.
Maca loses so badly long term.  :-X

CrowsFan

Well there goes any chance of anyone else winning a premiership in the next few years...

Torps, maca doesn't care long term, he just wants the short term glory, which he will get since every other team just gives him the old players because probably 15 teams on here are focusing on youth players ::)

I wouldn't worry CF. Seriously doubt that trade will go through.

Nails

If it's that terrible someone simulate a serious offer they'd be willing to give that is better ::)

::) Until I hear a legitimately good reason as to why the trade does not have any benefit to nails then I refuse to accept that.
Torps just said I lose massively long term, how is that unfair to nails?

JBs-Hawks

You want the legitimate reason? Its not in the spirit of the game.

Hey guys, think we should use this thread for trade confirmation only. Discussions on if a trade is legitimate can be done with voting...

Btw - It really isn't in the spirit of the game to 'group block' trades, if I notice a pattern of group blocking trades we may have to rethink the whole process....

Treat each trade on its merit.

Everybody will have an opinion that one trade is better than another. We shouldn't say 'no' because of a perceived SLIGHT advantage. We should block because of a BIG advantage/disadvantage.

It isn't in the spirit to have a short term strategy? Lol ok.

You have a point but if people aren't talking about it here it will still happen just in private which is probably worse. I don't see how you can police group blocking... :-\ Everyone judges trades differently...

Exactly :) So if the same 4 or 6 people vote the EXACT same way for EVERY single trade, I can be pretty confident something's not right!

Can't stop people from talking about trades, but for the sake of my sanity, don't do it in this thread! Hard enough to keep track as it is....

Honestly I think this deal sucks all round, Nails losing Swan and Boyd, Maca giving away a whole playing midfield, and Dublin losing the pick that would help them get themselves out of the cellar.
You all lose in this trade IMO.

I think holz loses badly. Maca loses long term but gains short term and Nails wins long term massively but loses for next year. I think all the teams have different strategies and only unfair trade is holz losing pick 1. I think this should go through, maybe slightly change holz's so he get's a slightly better player for one of Nails' weaker players?

Justin Bieber

Like I said. Why did holz trade whitfield to get a spud in??

Scott D. Thompson an old 26 :o

Crameri a young 24.

http://www.fanfooty.com.au/players/profile.php?firstname=Stewart&surname=Crameri

Look at his scores... He averaged 98.9 when Essendon were 8-1, then Essendon didn't get a possession in their Fwd50 rest of season and was effected by injury. But Crammers could average over 95 if not over 100 in a good Essendon season. Better than Scott D who has a HUGELY inflated average due to a once in a career 192 in rd23.
