Chad Wingard is the winner of the Wanganeen Medal for best player U/21.

Development Manager Daniel Healy presented Chad Wingard with the Wanganeen Medal, lauding his durability in being able to play 19 games - easily the most of any top ten pick from the 2011 National Draft. He has declared him a star in the making and knows that he will get there with the attitude he shows,

Chad Wingard says he is loving being part of a tight group at Port Adelaide and knows they are going places, He has thanked his parents, relatives, coaches and host family for their support during his first year in the AFL. Well done Chad.

Tom Jonas is the winner of the 2012 coaches award

What they said: Shaun Rehn presents Tom Jonas with the Coaches' Award, judged on team values of trust, competitiveness and selflessness. "He says Jonas showed the qualities all year and epitomizes the culture and future of Port Adelaide."

What he said: Tom Jonas on stage on crutches after a knee clean-out. "He says he loves supporting the team any way he can, whether he's playing at AFL level or not"
