TEAM NAME: Adamant

DEF: B. Goddard, J. Grimes, B. Gibbs, G. Birchall, P. Duffield, T. Smith, S. Docherty (S. Colquhoun, J. Thurlow)
MID: D. Swan, G. Ablett jnr, S. Pendlebury, D. Mundy, J. Toumpas, J. Viney (B. Crouch, J. O'Meara)
RUC: T. Goldstein, M. Leuenberger (B. Grundy, J. Daniher)
FWD: L. Franklin, S. Johnson, M. Robinson, D. Zaharakis, M. LeCras, S. Mayes, J. Stringer (A. Boston, M. McDonough)

CASH LEFT: $27,400

We only have one different player in our backs and rucks but 9 differences in the mids and forwards. :P

Picking expensive players like Swan, GAJ and SJ exposes you to more rookies on field so you'll need to be confident about their JS but it's probably a worthwhile compromise - you get 2 perma captains after all.

Thats my best effort so far, would love to know your thoughts.

Awesome team. 8.5/10. Not sure about Gray and Pittard, then Maccaffer may struggle a game. But its decent !!

Yeah, may go Zaha and SJ to Gray and Dusty/Stanley, then upgrade Mundy to Cotchin/Murphy and a rook to a mid-pricer/premo :)

Mr.Craig

What's the philosophy behind that team Barra?

Basically, guns everywhere else except for the mids.

If you wanted to do something like that, I would go Cox to Grundy and then upgrade Knights to Swan...

tbags line-up, how's this look? ???

Back: Grimes, Gibbs, Heppell, Bock, Russell, Watts, Otten, Pittard, Colqahoun - three guns and some great value picks

Mids: Murphy, Redden, Dangerman, Cotchen, Ball, Viney/O'Meara/Crouch/Wines - Four young stars and saving money

Ruck: Mummy, Leuey, Vardy, Grundy - three playing seniors and Mummy to hit back at that price!

Fwds: Buddy, Wright, Bennell, Martin, Knights, LeCras, Staker, Morton, Ben Kennedy - good value in mid-prices

So there's like 100-200k left but I like this team, truth be told I will struggle not to put in Tex, Mummy at the price and he saved my after Sandi went down, Wright to do a Sidebum, Redden and Danger to step it up, Pittart, Staker, Bock, LeCras back from injury to keep or make money, Otten to step up in 2013

I'd rather see you cheap out on Buddy than save money by bypassing Swan or GAJ, Danger looks like the odd man out there but you're an Adelaide man so I doubt anything I say will talk you out of that. :P

You probably have 2 too many mid-pricers in the whole scheme of things. Now that H-Mac is at the Cats you can almost completely write off the DT chances of Vardy.

There's a few things that need to be tidied up to make it a truly high scoring team but you're not too far off. One thing though, does Harley Bennell have a brother that I don't know about? ;)

Yeah I have already forgotten about Hmac lol oops ::), Danger will step up to 110+ ;) just trust me 8) Bennell yeah lol just going of fan planner here, will be hard to get all of Bock, LeCras, Ball (though cash cow planned) and so to all become keepers

Is Vardy at 200 worth more of a punt than a Daniher/Grundy at 130-180?

Will get Swan and Ablett as up-grades, but a risky stratagy yep!

Unless you have a serious hunch that Vardy or some other cheap ruck will step up, you might aswell go with the herd and pick Grundy/Daniher.

Having a number 1 forward that was ranked 22nd on averages last season won't cut it imo. Not sure how much cash you have left, maybe turn Knights/Gray into a premium/rookie or maybe shift a bit of money out of the backs.

Probably better options than Kerridge out there. Everything else looks pretty solid. :)

JBs-Hawks

Thought I might finally have a crack at a team. Thinking I will turn Dusty or Robbo into Rocky maybe turn a back rookie into a premo or turn ball into swan.
