Dont know why no one has created a thread for this yet.

Im loving the ABC coverage, and our athletes are killing it.
They were 2nd on the ladder and are now 4th.
Australia 16 Gold   13 Silver   19 Bronze

Jacqueline Freney has 5 gold medals for the games

Get on Ahmed Kelly on twitter @ahmedkelly4

Really disappointed with channel 9 and foxtel for not showing live coverage of the Paralympic games as they did for the olympic, Majority of Australia wouldn't even no its on.

AFEV

No thread because 9 is pathetic and chose not to show it. All the better because their coverage of the Olympics was horrible.

Boomz and I have been discussing it in the chat the last few days...Still can't believe Pistorius lost :o

Obviously purely about money. The paralympics don't get ratings so it's taken up by the ABC as an obligation to show it to the Australian public.

As much as you take your hat off for all the paralympians for their endeavour and its good to see the joy of there victories etc. The greater public want to see the best of sport. It would be a purely business decision. If it doesn't rate you won't see it on 9, 7, 10 or Foxtel.

Do not want to downgrade the Olympics but I am also really enjoying the Paralympics.

So great to see so many competitors happy with their results regardless of where they finished (apart from Pistouris outburst) as opossed to the egos in the Olympics. A lot of smiles says it all.

Great to see Australia doing so well on the minimum funding they receive when compared with Olympians.

Also great to see some of these athletes starting to get the Kudos they deserve back home.

The ABC Coverage is great but a pity due to agreements ABC radio can not cover.

The only thing that I have to complain about in the Paras is thhe influence of technology in some of the events that some of the poorer countries do not haveaccess to.

My favourite sport to watch is wheelchair rugby - get onto it.

Apparently the Brazilian was shorter before the race but after it he was taller. Pistorius is complaining that he was using better equipment ( taller artificial legs).

Just search T44 200m on YouTube and should be the first one there. That's how I watched it :)

Wow what a race you would think the commentators would at least recognize the Brazilian when he was making his way up to the top

Capper

How about that Brazilian guy who got disqualified because his guide finished more than 50 cm away from him

from ABC Grandstand
This is one of the great stories of the Paralympics. Matthew Stutzman, a 29-year-old archer from the United States, is competing in London. Stutzman was born without arms, but he has overcome his disability to achieve great things in his life. One of his greatest achievements, came earlier this week, when he won silver at the 2012 Games.Picture Tweet from @ London2012 Great shot!
