There would be ALOT less trading if ontrading wasn't allowed, as I've already mentioned in the 'have your say' thread but got no response there/ :(

If you want a player, you trade for him. Don't go trading him to someone else.

I look into one thread and it says Trent Cotchin has signed a 10 year deal. Later on down the page i see that he's been traded only a couple of months into that contract. ::)

Most clubs have got completely different sides, and that looks crap. All these top players form EXV's sides moving teams. If there was a cap on how many of a sides top players could leave at the end of a season, the teams would be mostly similar heading into the new season.

The 2012 season was a great season to be a part of, but it's all turned to crap over these trade periods. This competition is nothing like it used to be 4 months ago, I'm losing interest fast.


*NB: I haven't looked at the other competitions, but from the Worlds Squad that Nails has showed me, that's completely different too and i probably won't be joining the Worlds comp.

it will be much stricter next year and teams will remain realtively constant from here on. this year i couldnt change the rules mid trading periods and it was a transition period.

If you dont have the player to get the guy you want, you then have to plan and use others ways to trade in the guys there after, then on trade them to get the player you want, if this was taken away it would be way to hard to improve your team.

On trading imo is a skill, its an art something that makes trading fun!! If you wanna stop lots of trades make it 5 list movements but dont ruin the only skillful part of it

1st of feb for end of school holidays etc. would've been better imo. Because on holidays with like 0 net pretty much... my team's premiership hopes are flying out the window.

who is only just turned 25 two days ago, and averaged 117 the year before and i rate him the most valuable player in the comp.

Cotchin averaged 110 and played well below par in the first 10 games.

Pendles played a lot of good games and scored less than 100 and great games were 130 only

Gotta disagree with that Lez. I think that was a very smart move by Holz.

What happens if Cotchin does a Rocky and drops 10 points on his average? he loses a lot of value. Not saying that it will happen, but I would much rather a proven 115+ scorer who had a down year for his standards (due to his leg injury). Pendles will go back to a 115-120 average.
