And you complain about only having a couple of teams as competition next yr Holz ::)  and then you go flowering rape Torp......

atleast the bashers gave quite a few decent young players and only really got Fyfe, your giving flower all except O'Meara and pick up 2 90+ mids and 70+ fwd worst trade of the competition IMO

I will give all 3 for fyfe ina second.

yeah im sure you really would, dont talk smack you know Anthony is a gun in his prime.

Lol you wanting to decline the last trade but support this one makes you look priety funny to me Zip but yeah wateva i aint argueing no point.

WOuld you trade the 3 guys i picked up for Fyfe im thinking

Fyfe + Knights + Spud + Spud

for

Pearce + Athony + Simpson + Fisher

Reply:

Look its a fair deal but fyfe is an onfield starter, pearce, anthonu, simpson and fisher would all be bench players

good choice by FARK he knows what he is talking about Fyfe is a gun.

Well why trade away our 3rd best mid for 3 bench mids and a defence bench when we already have a strong mid and def bench. You win games by onfield points not bench points

Ziplock

he's just demonstrating that, despite what pickers said, that he would trade them all for fyfe :S

and he's also demonstrating that the fyfe trade was clearly more of a rapeage than the trade he's done now.

and ftr fark, fisher and anthony would both probably make your side... simpson might as well, now fyfe is gone.

I like this. Holz complains about the comp not being fair, but single handly eliminates one team from the competition.

Pearce + Nicholson maybe even Terlich all beat fisher
Carrazo ave 99 unsubbed and as first bench Gibson ave 97 unsubbed so Simpson and anthony would be second and 3rd mid reserve

Justin Bieber

So it's

O'Meara = Simpson + Fisher + Anthony

And

Whitfield = Barlow.

Lol.

Nah shower excuse guys if any if us were running the comp we would have done the same as holz so cant go round saying that

Justin Bieber

Yeah true. I'm more concerned on Torp's team. He was already close to a bottom team and now pretty much takes the spoon with him. I don't mind if it goes through, cause that means a bye round during the season.

The F.A.R.K.

Okay move on aye

I can package up a mix of Matt Priddis, Sam Gibson, Matt Rosa, Jarryd Blair, Chris Knights fir a 100+ mid who is 27 yrs old or younger

Anyone keen

JBs-Hawks

Lol holz moller at number one you reckon? The experts rated him around a second round pick can't remember where but I read that when researching him months ago. He is nowhere near as good as Grundy, never will be.

Going on previous trades this trade has to pass. Though sucks to be torp have fighting with the dutch for the spoon for the next three years.  There needs to be something done to stop people going the youth/old route in all xv comps it takes all realism out of it.

It is sad and he didn't even get that much youth.

yeah i read the article incorectly, I still think he would be a first round pick. Have seen him abit in action and he can play.

The only way to do it woudl be to have an age cap. and even than teams could just get around it by getting a few old spuds. The difference really is young teams need a few old bodies to stop the kids getting hurt, in fantasy you dont need that.

Really though its basically comparing Gellong to GWS.

I do have quite a few old players but i wouldnt really say i have gone down the old route at all.

Gibbs, Pendles, Lids, Barlow, Anthony, Goldy, Cloke

thats half my starting sqaud at around 25-26 or under.

than guys like shaw adcock lecras arent that much older.

I can see why people would want to cut lose anyone over 28 though if your going youth. The problem im seeing is that people are going way to young. Im going young in the worlds and im trading for guys in the 20-24 range. I have heard people even say a 25-26 year old player is too old for them. A 26 year old player is too old for no team.

Talking about worlds and the teams going young there, I find it very funny because the average age of my entire squad is just 22.02, yet I was one of, if not the, strongest teams going round last year!

The F.A.R.K.

We have Carrazzo, R.Shaw, Pods, Hmac, Pav

Not to mention half our midfield all being 27

Its not a case of having old vs youth its a case of wether you have spud oldies like pods abd shaw or good oldies like pav
