Trade period closes before the positions are released, and I only wanted Whitecross if he is going to be a FWD next year so asked Holz for permission for the reverse option and he said it was OK.

also how are you trading a pick that you skipped???

It was a skipped Nat Pick, so it becomes a Rookie Pick straight after when it was skipped (So skipped Nat 47 will become Rookie 48)

I asked Holz about the reverse option first. I bit ironic for someone who had a trade go through when it was confirmed AFTER the deadline :P

Our was legit. The draft was on the Gold Coast which meant we actually had another whole hour after everyone thought it closed ;)

The trade will effect mine and Pickers strategy in the drafts. If it happens, it happens a day and a bit after the trade period not like its months later in case of LTI. Special permission for things occur in the AFL so why not here ? It was sought and agreed to so I don't see the problem. Does it really effect anybody else ?

look pass it but i just dont agree with making up new rules during the trade week

dont even like the rule where you can confirm a deal now, for the next trading period

that cant happen in real life it shouldnt happen here

That was a special request put to Holz that was approved, its not a new rule just made or an option that can be used whenever so nothing has been changed and hasn't effected any teams 8)

Plenty of things happen in XV's that dont in real life.......
