brodie was a first round pick himself. being a defender makes him more valuable. he is in a top 4 side with great js (even betyer now doughty is gone) id say he is one of the most promising defenders in the league

tippett was an average hack if that. Couldnt take a contested mark, couldnt ruck just used his size to win ball and kick goals. Him leaving will leave a spot for Jenkins/Mckernan/luke thompson/angus graham to fill, who atm are all average hacks but in a few years could be stars. Walker is set for a huuuuuge year thus year

Crows have some very talented younger guys in Dangerfield + Sloane + Wright + Jacobs + Walker + Talia + Shaw + Smith who are only going to get better, havnt lost much in retirements or trading except tippet, Sando at the helm again, more young guys Crouch / Grigg / Brown / Kerridge ect ect still to come in the future and they beat 14/18 teams this year with Lions & Kangas being games they should of won.....

Thats why tippet came third in the AFL this year behind Cloke and Hawkins and played 1 less game than Hawkins and 4 less than Cloke.
