British 15's Official Trade period 1 thread

I agree IN GENERAL that a trade does not have to be equal exactly but there are a lot of things to consider, as the trade that favors one team may favor them too much and MORE IMPORTANT, if it disadvantages a team too much, there is the risk that team will fail to perform, the coach quit and the team be left in a mess for the poor sucker if one can be found  to take it over.


This is spot on by Colli. The trade panel was formed to do this, i formed it of members who i believe have the knowledge to do so. I even allowed a member (along with myself) of British to be on the panel.

As Colli says if you have a problem with the decision then appeal it. We have six people giving their opinion and not just one, if the majority cant see the trade as fair then it is rejected, as simple as that.

If you have a problem with the panel or how trades are run, feel free to leave the comp. I dont put in my own time to run this comp just to have people saying its poor. There are plenty of viable members on FF who would be happy to takeover.  :)

Neither Swallow or Mzungu should count because they were never originally in my team.

The Trade period will work as follows:

Trade Period 1

Starts: After the Official Draft is complete

Ends: At the start of the National Draft

Trades: You may have up to 5 list changes, meaning that after you have finished drafting in the official draft that you can only add  or take five players/draft picks from your list. However if you get a player and then on trade that same player for another player it will still only count as 1 list change.


1. A list change will occur for both teams if this happens: Player x for Player y

2. A list change will occur for both teams if this happens: Player x for Draft pick

3. A list change will not count if: Draft pick x for Draft pick y
