your getting robbed :o

i wouldnt be relying on Jenkins to play regular games for us.

Colliwobblers

not outrageous :) rucks take many years to come on so jenkins is a good upgrade from an 18 year old taken in the draft no matter how early, but the other team in the trade may need a mid gun, which can go BANG from day 1. Pick 3 in the draft gets them that.....

balanced i would say depending on each teams needs.

Ringo

To put all into perspective was going to take Grundy at pick 3 if available which I think he would have been. Was to be back up to my Rucks of Nat and Jamar so not necessary to play all games.  Rounds my Rucks nicely and worth the Pick 3 trade.  Basically Jenkins v Grundy for Team Balance. Think It balances out.

The reason I'd say it's unbalanced is that you could have got a better ruck for pick 3 if you had shopped it around... Can't see Jenkins even playing consistently while Adelaide is at full strength.

but he's behind Jacobs who is only one year older and Jenkins will never loose the number one ruck he's to good, Also Jenkins doesnt fit into our forward line with the tall boys already there who help out in the ruck as it is. but yeah i wouldnt bloke the trade just dnt think jenkins will play much :)

The whole point of the team to discuss if trades are fair or not are judged on player V player( or players that can be gotten) and teams needs and structure. this trade helps both me and ringo's structure. Jenkins is averaging more than Cox did at his age.  ::)

maybe hard to say most teams are leaning towards having 2 rucks on the park... who else have the crows got? thing holding jenkins back is tippett and walker and the fact they don't need him "resting" forward, but if tippett goes, what then i say??

still i don't suggest i am a crow expert so....

good point on cox at his age - i didn't know that. Still i think ONLY RIDICULOUS trades should be blocked by this committee, and i think this is a fair way off being ridiculous.

Exactly. This is a structural trade for both teams and not ridiculously sided to one team.

Ringo

Maybe right Boomz but when I looked at it from my perspective was sound Most Teams will have 2 rucks so that is 36 Rucks and Jenkins is ranked 27 in rucks.  Offer was for Either Zac Smith (22) or Jenkins and I selected Jenkins.

It is serious and I confirm.  Was going to use pick 3 to pick a ruck so thought I would take the opportunity to get a proven young ruck in exchange.
Could of offered you Hmac for pick 3

MTTY - Can you refresh us who is on the Rules Committee and who will approve trades.
Couple of Questions
Also when we have a trade arranged do you as the approving body need any extra infiormation as to why etc, eg I am trading Player x for Pick y in National Draft.  Do we have to give you a rationale as to why i consider that player X is worth Pick Y to assist the Panel.
Do we post proposed trades in this thread and you post agreement or otherwise, Know similar question toCollie but just need to be sure of correct process.

We as a panel will vote and discuss. If your trade is reject we will allow you to challenge with reasons (like a tribunal)

I see this unfair and puts rings is a bad situation. No offense torp, but that trade is more one sided than the ele trade.
