Even imo. Good trade boys!

... it's not close to even  :-X

You serious? Selwood only averages 10 points a game more. Colli gets 4 picks in the top two rounds now!?

Holz

is there voting in this comp. Some of the trades look pretty one sided and there is one i would veto.

There is in worlds but i dont like it. If both coaches are happy then its fine. Its one persons team not everyone elses.

i agree should let people do what they want but some trades are just soo teriblle something needs to happen.

Like in the euro the Selwood for Shiels trade. Hawka now really regrets that at it made his team really weak.

Most people are looking at that trade the same way. These players score more so they are better. But position is a huge factor.

Shuey is the 34th highest avg scoring mid. Heath Shaw is the 11th highest avg scoring back. In front of shaw is lids, scotland, carrazzo, gram and enright, all whom are turning 30 or more next season or not going to be a mid. Meaning from the younger players, shaw ranks 6th. Goddard may move so who knows how he will score.
Being a pies supporter, I can tell you that Shaw has not been good this season. I feel he has been playing out of position, a bit too high up the ground yet still holds around the 100 average for a backman who will always be a backman. That is super valuable.

Then there is Parker, he has been the Sub countless times and no one can say how good he will be, but we know he will be good. Could he reach the 110avg next season, why not, maybe more if sydney continue to improve. As BB said before, there are questions marks about howe with clarke in the team. We need a forward and he needs a backman.

I feel the difference in parker and shuey is much much smaller than in shaw and howe which is where the trade in draft picks come from.

It's not a case of 100 + 91 is worse than 125 + 90 and that's that. We need to play rivers in defence now, so we lost 30-35 points there. If BB plays Heater over a rookie in the backline, he could make up around 40 points and that difference might be less playing parker and the next in line after howe.

Yeah that is one trade I do recall being a shocker.

I still think that some coaches need to cop the repercussions of poor trading.

Ultimately up to MTTY though, I don't mind too much :)

+1 there is more to trades than numbers but i agree with the guys comments on that worlds or euros trade whatever it was it was ridiculous.

in the Asians the vote was for admin approval. So 99% of trades will go through but that 1% of totally ridiculous trades can and will be blocked.

the rules here are that anything goes i think?

If some of you may recall, the rules committee is also a trade panel. All trades are subject to voting from the panel.

Thanks MTTY. I missed the rules thread :) that's good to know. So you guys will look over all the trades and just let us know what ISN'T approved or will you post to approve each individual trade?

Just wondering before I go and change my team list in my thread?

Was meaning it's uneven the other way :-X Colli wins big time.

Isn't the committee meant to be impartial? I see someone who may have got more involved than initially thought when the committee was created... ::)

Yeah we will look over every trade and say if it is fair or not. Then we will say why it is not in some cases and then possibly suggest changes.
