A Trade to get the ball rolling again in this fine British competition.

JBsHawks Gives:  Nick Haynes + Nat Pick #42

Colliwobblers Gives: Daniel Gorringe + Nat Pick #28

JB to Confirm.

Confirmed

Yeah good point ok

REASON:  The Werewolves have 5 ruckmen on our list but after trading out JKennedy and Cornelius to Ringo recently we are a little light on in FWDS, this trade gets us a DPP MID/FWD rook taken at pick #7 in the draft, and we give to a team in need of another ruckman a bit better than a rookie taken at pick #10. I asked for the player in Haynes and he was taken in our draft earlier than Gorringe so I offered JB a pick exchange in his favor, probably more than I would like in his favor but given the players we are trading and the relative closeness of the picks I think the trade is very even just suits our structures to make the trade.

Plus I have a thing for orange rooks, but not a fan of the red and yellow ones :)

Reason: Gorringe a Norwood boy and don't really want to rely on mckernan and Phillips for games If kreuzer is injured. Also improve my draft position.

Spinking you may also have to make a ruling on compensation picks for retired and delisted players.  I have both Drummond and Swift in this category.

Thanks Ringo.

I've just updated the Nat and Rookie threads with the most current selection orders, and with some additional clarifications. In the rookie thread I have indicated that additional picks will be given at the end of the rookie draft until each team meets the required quota of 46 players. This will be in the same snake format as the rest of the rookie draft.

I can see that this may be more of a disadvantage to some than others, as say, Drummond still had reasonable value and is more of a loss than some of the rookies that have been delisted, however trying to implement a compensation system that is agreeable to everyone would be a nightmare. At least this way we are on a level playing field.

Ringo

Thanks Spinking - Happy with that just could not see anything in the official rules as to when we would get these picks.

Trade 10.

Winchester Warewolves receive: Nick Haynes + Nat Pick #42

Huddersfield Hawks receive: Daniel Gorringe + Nat Pick #28

OP will be updated in the national draft thread

Can't really change it mid-way through. MTTY does say in another thread that we would have a second trade period after the drafts which will last longer. He initially suggested it would be unlimited trades, then maybe 10. I think that would be about right.

Later ones. Uncovered some gems which would be wasteful at 1,3 or 4.

Prepared to give up 1 of my top 4 for 2 top 15 picks. PM with offers.
