Thoughts on Ivan Maric

Did anyone else notice that Tom Derickx was brought into the team?

Now named as emergency.

Am I being paranoid, or does anyone else think Ivan might be a late withdrawal?

Is it worth taking a risk and setting an emergency in the ruck instead of another position? (Redden)

Saw the same thing, had the exact same thought.

Tempted to put the E on Redden, but then it is missing from another line.

Still contemplating, I might take the E off the back line and put it on Redden just in case.

I have been thinking much the same thing mate. He has been dealing with groin issues for some time now right? It would make sense that they pull him out a week early and not risk any chance of worsening the injury.

I have Giles as an emergency, just in case.

It definitely seems strange that they would bring in Derickx now.

Even more worrying because it was made clear he has been battling groin soreness towards the end of the season.

wow just what i needed for the grand final :P so you think its definitely worth having an emg there in case? thinking about maybe getting rid of backs emg since 3 of my backs are already playing tonight and so there is less chance of an out

To be honest, I am not sure.

I think I am going to take a risk and put the emergency on Redden just in case. (And pray no one is out in my back line)

Just researched everywhere and there is nothing concrete on him being a potential late out or suffering at all this past week with soreness.

Worth the gamble by keeping your emergencies elsewhere I feel. I will be.

I definitely think he is a chance to miss.

I took my emergency out of the midfield because all of my mids are finished tomorrow except for Boyd who would never put his hand up for a rest.

While I do agree Jigsaw, it does worry me that they brought in another ruckmen for the last round. (As emergency)

I had Ellis emergency but I made redden emergency and now carrazzo is out!! It was me 140 v Scotland now it's me 99 v Scotland fmdt!!!

Wouldnt blame the thread for loosing. The rumours have been pretty strong most of the week and Derycks inclusion as emergency gave it some validity. I covered the rucks instead of the backs because of the rumours but got lucky 2 out of 3 of my opponents did the same.

Bad luck mate :( but Scotland could still score under 99. I have giles as 3rd ruck but didn't make him emergency, if Maric is out I'm stuffed. Instead of Goddard, Maric, Adcock +50 vs Marc Murphy, Boyd, Rocky it will be God, Adcock and 50 vs Murphy, Boyd and Rocky. Please play mullet man!
