So I've been on the cheap Nokias for a couple of years now and am ready to upgrade.  What should I get?  At the moment I'm leaning towards and iPhone - of course waiting until the 5 comes out.

Haha yeah I never thought I'd need one but I've just been so bored lately playing the same game on my crappy brick phone

I was always a Nokia user and traded up every year to the newest phone. Got given an iPhone for work and would now never use anything else. Have added an iPad, MacBook and Mac Mini to my home set up since and have always been very happy.

Yeah.  My mum and brother both have an iPhone 4 and I would be satisfied using them.  Plus it might be good to 1 up them with the 5  ;D

yeh stick with either Optus or Telstra (or a supplier of either 2).

Regarding Iphone v android, i have an android and find it easier to use than an iphone and you dont have to do everything through itunes when you connect it to a computer which helps.

There are guys at work (i work for a telco) who have had both and basically it comes down to users choice. If you use alot of Apple products then go with the Iphone, otherwise go with an android.

i've never had an iPhone and I just went with the Android cos the best plan phone I could find had it and I'm not disappointed with it so far ...

though i'm a bit older so maybe not so gen-Y with the apple product usage ...
