So Stanton's season was a failure are you saying?

His 193 won me 5 league games.
His 175 as captain won me 5.
The 140 won me 2.

(And there's the 153 which doesn't count as league games hadn't started at that point)

Nobody had Stants when I started going on about him. Less then 0.5% of the comp. He reached over 20%...

That and I've had him on my bench for about 5 weeks :P

I wasn't an idiot who jumped on his bandwagon- I was there from the start.

Thing is though... A lot of us saw it coming... Stanton loves doing this

http://www.fanfooty.com.au/players/year.php?firstname=Brent&surname=Stanton&year=2010

Season 2010 - pre-season he averaged like 150. First 5 games of Home and Away he averaged 122... Remainder of the season average: 91

2009 - First 7 H&A games - 108.57 ave
        - Remainder of H&A - 97.4 ave

2007 - First 7 H&A - 106 average
        - Remainder of H&A - 84.77

Last year he bucked the trend, but that's mainly because Jobe absorbed the hard tag (IIRC)

Stanton is what I like to think of as a "Reverse Goodes"

Definitely not worth bragging over.

Found a post from me earlier this year

Stanton has a habit of averaging 200 over the first 5 rounds and then averaging 90. I don't like him.

Trading out Dusty > Whitecross fml.

Holz

Nails its simple than, start with Stanton keep him for 2 months than trade him to goodes

Diesels Pups

Surely he is was one obvious 3 game warrior then sayonara, never rated him even during those high scoring games. Those that still have him are paying the price.

Heppell21

U think a lot of people traded him in after he got those big scores. Everyone who did has definitely paid for their mistake :o

It's like winning 2million in the lottery then spending it ALL on a top of the line Holden/Ford.

What about his last 6 games of 74, 85, 84, 62, 72 and last but not least a maginficent 61 from a "premium", how many games did they lose you?

I haven't played him in my last 5 as I said, so none really.

he's 360k atm and has a BE of 108 and i thought the price rises were only because of the new team being included??

The prices do not follow on the next year. I thought that a few years back when Corey Enright had like a shower as 4 weeks and went down to 280k. Then I was like wow awesome. Then he was priced at like 350k+  :-[
