The problem is there are only so many points to share around in SC and there were a lot of other good performers from the Hawks taking some of the spoils. Ablett will always score well because his scores are relative to the performance of the rest of his team.
He was scoring the same at Geelong with all those stars around him.

He was playing better games than he did last night to get those scores. It's pretty simple really. An average game from Ablett will be worth more while he is playing for GC compared to Geelong. Until they build a team to rival the depth of quality of Geelong's that is...

Great thread NonFatty. A classic example of a supercoach indiscretion. Well exposed mate.

Because champion data is rigged! END OF STORY! it has been proven every weekend, Abletts sc is a joke! so is Burgoynes....... champion data ne to overhall their rigged scoring system

i agree with what your saying i just think that if they didnt score ablett well their would be an outcry as he is almost insta lock captain for thousands of coaches and is so wildy promoted

There is no rigging. You are able to see the live SC scores over the HUN website (need digital pass though or supercoach pro)
Didnt watch the game but from the scoring worm a lot of points would of gone to the guys that got Hawthorn back into the game.
JPK and ROK get points for giving Swans the lead to begin with and clutchness.
If it had been close all the way and S Burgoyne had the same last 8 minutes his score would be higher me thinks.

I have said it before and will say it again. A SC score is not quantitative. ie. a Kick is not worth X amount always.
depending on the situation or scenario a Kick can range from -5 points to 30 points.
SC score is a ranking.
Shaun finished with 128 SC. This made him the 2nd highest ranked player on the ground behind ROK.
Nothing to complain about. If you want him to be 160 you would have to take away 40 points from other places..

Shaun Burgoyne was the catalyst of the revival, kicked an inspiring goal that got their tails up, the swans were pressing to score whilst the resurgence was happening, Burgoyne argualbly pulled of the 1%er of the year, ran down Jetta from going long into their forward 50.

He was dominating all game, was one of the highest possession players, before he kicked that match winning goal he was on 117 points, I was watching and following on superfooty.

Back in rnd 9, Andrejs Everitt was the sub, came on in last qtr and scored 86 points for a match winning goal.

I bet anyone any dollar, if GAJ was wearing number 9 in the hawthorn guernsey on sat arvo, his SC ranking score would have been in excess of 180.

Just had a look at his stats..
8 Kicks 2 Tackles. That is 2 kicks a quarter and 1 tackle a half.
You cannot dominate a game with 8 kicks and 2 tackles.
And for a fact he did not dominate Q1. No one in Hawthorwn did.

Rok the highest ranked player on the ground had 18k 12hb 12 tackles
The tackles definitely would of scored him more points.

That said Burgoyne was still the second highest ranked player on the ground.
It sounds like you have him and disappointed he didnt get more.

CD have a formula and it does not take players jumper number into account.

Ye he would because GAJ actually dominates games. His effectiveness / contested possessions / pressure is off the charts.

As much as i enjoy SC the one thing that sh@ts me about it is the scores that are allocated by personal opinion of what influence a player had and when. Take all the opinionated scoring options away and or replace them with definitive scoring options. I dont mind a player getting 20 extra points for a winning goal but make every winning goal worth 20 extra not all over the shop as it is now. Having over a 100 scoring possibilities many of them subjective makes it to difficult to follow or understand at times.
In saying all that i do thoroughly enjoy playing it and will continue to play it even if nothing changed. Niether form, DT or SC is perfect both have glaring faults tbh but the enjoyment outweighs those issues for me.
