Because Sydney's offer is well below what Adelaide want. That offer would satisfy both clubs

But Tippett's manager has come out and said he won't sign anywhere except GWS. Acting like a free agent even though he isn't. Wanted to go to Sydney - GWS is in Sydney so if he refuses to go there then he is clearly after money and glory (which is weird given that by the time he retires GWS will be a premiership-winning team)

I'd love to see GWS and Adelaide do a trade... GWS gives Adelaide two picks (say, 3 and 12) and Adelaide doesn't give anything back (or maybe a really late draft pick, like fourth or fifth round or something)

GWS then take Tippett with the first pick of the PSD. Win-win situation - Crows get fair compensation, GWS get another forward, and Tippett gets egg on his face.


Crows gain from GWS: Pick 3 (Toumpas) and Pick 12
GWS gain from Crows: Kurt Tippett and a late draft pick
