Suns skipper Gary Ablett has been battling a nasty flu this week and is under the weather.

He has been kept away from the club for most of the week and failed to train on Wednesday.

It shouldn't stop him from playing, but don't be surprised if he is down on his usual output.

This definately has me second guessing myself now. And like the DT talk boys said last night Carlton will need as much percentage as they can get and stopping Ablett will be the best to do that. I don't have Swan so my other options are Thommo v melb, Boyd v Geel (shouldn't get a tag) Watson v Richmond tonight, and even with his injury concerns Pendles v West Coast (shouldn't get a tag). Or just keep in on GAJ??

This isn't the SC board and I don't think that many people were considering him captain...

Super Coach, Dream Team it's all the same really, and it's very DT relevant news. And for anyone who doesn't have swanny should definately consider GAJ as captain. Yes, I read LaHugs captains ever week and love it but I think GAJ as captain is definately an option for anyone who doesn't have swanny.

Not saying it's not DT relevant, just found it strange to call him "SuperCoach king" on the DT boards. Also, he has a shocking DT record against the Blues (at least by his standards) and would get shut down by Carrazzo. Many better captain options this week.

Just copied and pasted a small bit from the article and I changed it now anyway

I think u'll see he's just copied and pasted it on both boards which is fair enough. No need to be hating on super coach haha. But nah I agree with u. The stats don't lie and he doesn't perform well against the blues, and especially now he has the flu makes it risky. But in saying that it is Gary Ablett!

LaHug

Didn't see this on the SC board because I don't really spend any time there ever.

Well, I was already going to put captain on Swanny, with him coming back(no injury either, should keep fitness up), so Ablett with the flu doesn't affect me, I have Dusty Martin covering if he pulls out.

Swan captain!! And Ablett might be tagged by Carrots.
