I was running thru the hawks lineup and I have a hunch suckers could be in line for sub again? Unless there is a late inclusion? I'm considering sticking Sam shaw on the field. Anyone else thinking the same or have I lost the plot...

I'm hoping they make Ellis sub. I know that if I bench him, he'll get 120 so I gotta back him in and put him on the park.

It's his 50th game, I think he'll start. Xav in his second game back might be given the green vest.

I'm sure there are plenty of clubs who'd love to have Ellis, Lewis, Suckling and Gunston in their starting 18, let alone sitting on the bench. 8)

IF Buddy is really back, then Gunston may be sub. He was sub a few times earlier in the year.

That is very true. However Ellis and Gunston are far from being hard nuts themselves.

I highly doubt Clarkson would start the best kick in the game as sub against possibly the best team in the game. Even though I don't have him I highly doubt he will be sub.

Sorry Hawka, I'm not sure if your comment was specifically directed at me or everyone who has commented. Indeed Ellis has played two games since coming back, not one as I initially thought. I still think he might be given the vest this week though considering the amount of time he's been away from AFL for. Like you I haven't heard anything about Suckling being injured either.

don't forget its not limited to guys on the bench. Puopolo, Breust and co are all just as likely to start sub.
The fact is only the coaching staff and players know who will be sub come game day

suckers was sub during finals last year, so when it really counts clarkson put him as sub.

Hawks are preparing for finals and it would make sense that they start to field the set ups that they will use in the finals..

It would not surprise me if suckers was the sub..

In saying thay is suckers is sub he still is capable of outscoring shaw
