Dud Premiums :(

At the start of the year I picked up Joel Selwood and Tom Rockliff. Come finals time they have really started to piss me off. They havent really done much right all year except for playing most games and not getting LTI's.

I keep looking at my team just wishing of a midfield of : Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Watson, Pendles & Cotch. For me next year I'm thinking of starting Ablett, Pendles, Watson & Cotchin. I've got 3 of them. Midfielders are suppose to be the best spot for scoring that u shouldnt have trouble with. Except it has gave me headaches all season.

Is their anyway of being able to suss out whether a player might have a quiet season. If so who do u think will go from premium to average next year. I think Chappy and Scotty T might start struggling n. Are there any young blokes who are producing premium scores this year who will do a Rocky and struggle next year??

Also are people scared off Lids and Beamer for MID premiums next year because of the Bryce Gibbs scenario??

just look at premiums that have had a good pre season not much else you can do

If you are looking for younger mids who are capable of pushing to super premium next year then my choices would be Cotchin, Beams (pretty much there already), Redden and K.Jack (averaging 109 over the last 13 weeks).

As for guys who might go backwards, that's hard to say. Pav, Cox, Mitchell, Chappy, Thompson, Goodes and Scotland all pose a certain level of risk given their age and vulnerability to being rested.

Not sure what you mean by a Gibbs scenario? He was a DPP, then became a pure mid and has experienced a relatively poor year by his standards. Do I think Lids or Beams will have a down season if they are listed as Mid only? I don't see the connection there.
