Scott Pendlebury just sent a scare through the Magpie camp. Went down at training clutching outside of right knee. Up and moving now.

Doesnt sound good, no use jumping to conclusions but with Swan back this week they could account for WCE without Pendles.  That could be my last trade, Pendles to Swan

Continued training but its still a worry

"COLLINGWOOD vice-captain Scott Pendlebury sent a scare through the Magpies camp on Wednesday morning when he appeared to injure his right knee at training.

Pendlebury went to ground clutching the outside of his right knee towards the end of the training session at Gosch's Paddock.

Training was halted for several minutes while Pendlebury spoke to coach Nathan Buckley and trainers.

However he remained on the field and while he appeared slightly limited he continued training with his teammates.

It is the same leg Pendlebury fractured in round 10 against Gold Coast.

The Magpies face West Coast at Patersons Stadium on Saturday night in a clash critical for both teams' top-four aspirations."

Makes me think twice about bringing him in this week

KoopKicka

Youd think theyd need him for the clash wouldnt you?

Buckley said that there is no issue in regards to @SP_10 and injury."

Of Course he's going to say that - pendles hasn't looked 100% for a few weeks now. I think he could easily miss this week. Would be good for me as all 4 of my prelim opponents have him and I don't

AFL story now updated -
http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/145330/default.aspx

"COLLINGWOOD says Scott Pendlebury won't require scans on the knee he knocked at training after he was able to finish off the Wednesday session well."

Shihan7

SHOWER! Luckily Gibbo is killing it out there!

DT Gun

of course they will scan his knee just to check if he has done any damage or if it is a knock..

Just trying to play it down, you dont get a knee knock and lie on the ground for 2-3 minutes in pain

I honestly think they wont fly him over to perth..

Heppell21

Unlucky Pendles! Big loss for the Pies because there are versing west coast.

Slap

This just means I'll play Pendles over Gibson.  Pendles will probably get subbed with an ave score and Gibbo will chop up on my bench against GC.

Another Pie who isn't 100%...

"Heath Shaw got through most of training after appearing to undergo a fitness test early in the session".
