Now Hawks say buddy may not play this week again
Bloody hypocrytes with their Bring a Buddy theme last week,
Hopefully Buddy doesnt have another big nite out this friday,
and rocks up to the sydney game in good shape ::)

Interesting place to get your footy news mate

Not sure I would ever read anything Roger Vaughan writes after this effort

Try using official websites such as AFL.com or HawthornFC.com

Bit more concrete articles around those places with the full story

Hodge saying Buddy is still "groggy" doesn't equate to the club saying he may not play.

?
First sentence says hawks unsure if buddy will play against swans. I am just sayin that while we know not to believe everything we hear, In my DT research I take into account any proffesionally written info published regardless of the source, and then make up my own mind about the situation, just thought Id put some info from a dif source out there for anyone that thinks like me.

last week a lot of people in knockout finals conveniently left buddy on the bench. IF he was playing why wouldnt you name him and set an emerg if he was out . was playin suns ffs. Nick Maxwell left him and Mitchell on the bench in his Dt side, inside info is out there ,sometimes you just need to dig it up

And what I'm saying is that the title of the article is based on one word that Luke Hodge said rather than anything the club has communicated. You are free to question whether Buddy will play this week, I'm sure we all have our doubts. However, the AAP article deliberately skews what was said in order to create a story that will be picked up by other media outlets.

The official word as of the press conference earlier today is that Buddy is set to train this week and "all going well he will play".

Something isn't right here.

I have always thought that the 3-strikes was a little far fetched, surely if he has 3-strikes then its bye bye Buddy. It would be a mockery if the AFL didn't suspend him. However I have a theory of my own that may not have been discussed already. What if Buddy is on 2 strikes, and the club know he has something in his system at the moment? Hence if they play him and is asked to piss in the cup post match its game over.

Seems legit. And maybe they thought itd be out of his bloodstream by last weekend and when tested by the club doctors it wasn't

I'm with KB on this one, gotta accumulate all the evidence and filter out the rubbish from there. The official news was that it was a 3 week week injury 6 weeks ago so we can't always go by what the club is reporting.

Pretty sure you don't have to be playing to be tested ;)

The theory that he failed a club drug test and is being protected from official testing has been talked about. My argument against that is that the AFL aren't fools and if Buddy is already on two strikes which seems to be a widely held opinion then he'd already be target tested. An extended layoff where temptation might be greater would be a red flag for the AFL to pay even closer attention to him. As we saw with Swan they have no qualms in rocking up to a player's house without warning and conducting tests, a faked injury/illness would not protect him from this.

Exactly wasn't swan tweeting about being tested in Arizona?
