I couldnt help but laugh when McGuanne stuffed up that open goal from a meter out. Just sums him up completely

Justin Bieber

Yeah I think Sandilands was always going to play.

sorry, it looks way too suss imo. Sandi ended up finishing amongst the BOG and dominated- he was clearly ready to play, and if so should have just been named. Unless Lyon thought he wasn't ready to play at all, in which case he shouldn't have been named as an emergency.

How was he at the game ready to go on when griffin withdrew if he was supposed to be playing wafl? (not an accusation, just curious).

The emergencies always warm up with the team (unless they are playing WAFL that day) - just in case.  All clubs do it.  East Fremantle werent playing till Sunday so Sandi warmed up with the team

I wonder what would of happened if the game was in Melbourne :o

Just taking a guess but Griff would have been replaced with the tallest traveling emergency

Prob not - I struggle in planes and I am only 6ft3in.  I can only imagine how much trouble he has

^+1 planes are doges

although freo would probablyask really nicely for an emergency exit seat (lots of leg room :P )

He was meant to play in the WAFL, withdrew.
He was meant to do an interview with foxtel at qtr time, withdrew.
Griffin has a mysterious injury during the warm up yet apparently sprinted off the ground looking fine.

Its suss. It means nothing though, Freo were the better side and Richmond should have been prepared for Sandi reguardless but Ross Lyon is an A-grade Bulls**t artist

He was meant to play in the WAFL, withdrew. Withdrew after he was required to play for Freo

Ross Lyon tell it straight up - all year if he has said something he has followed through.  Maybe you should watch his press conferences more often (and other media commitments) before making this assessment.

All week leading up to selections the media statements were that Sandi was in the mix to play this game.  So if Dimma was not prepared for Sandi then I question his role as coach and not preparing for this.
