The funny thing is he came 8th in our league and his team hasn't actually been that good for most of the season (even I managed to beat him earlier in the season!). He had a massive score last week though (the highest in our league), and this week he beat our top ranked team that lost to me last weekend by almost 300 pts (Griffin/Franklin/Mitchell out with no cover). Just glad I won last week or I would've been thrashed by him too!

Thankfully I'm not playing him next week, but I reckon his team will come back down to earth by next weekend. He has a few average picks in Lake and Hurn, but it's true that his team is now pretty solid, with good cover (Adams/Cloke/Giles/Morris/Baguley on the bench). I reckon you can take him!

Actually I was looking at the matchups wrong, Dr.DT is playing Maxwell in one prelim and I'm in the other. Hopefully I'll see him in the GF.

Well I think his team was pretty poor to start with (picks like Hurn and if few other fairly iffy players such as Cloke), and he has traded himself into a good team come finals... hmm!

Last year Maxwell put Franklin on the bench on the w/e he was withdrawn with an ankle problem and no-one else had any idea - I mean seriously who does that?

On SEN he was asked to explain why he benched Mitchell b4 lockout last week - he replied by saying he had a "gut feeling" he would be not playing - c'mon Nick .... you're not being honest ala Ross Lyon me thinks.
