Hey guys just got an issue with my iPod Touch...

I set a passcode to it like two days ago cos my sister kept getting into it, and the things is I have now forgotten this new passcode .......

Cannot get back into it in any way and am at a loss as for what I can do, so does anybody here know if there is any way I can change or reset the passcode WITHOUT restoring the iPod back to factory settings?

This is an iPod Touch 4th gen by the way

Thanks heaps guys !

Ziplock

pretty sure you can do it if you plug it into the computer it's synced to.

What you hiding Tommy hahah?

I think Zips right. Just plug the thing into the comp. Should be straight forward from there...

If all else fails... WikiAnswers is a classic helper ;)

yeah it all is; just that it is a bit of a hassle that's all, and high scores and stuff from my apps would be erased wouldn't they?

Tried typing in all 4-digit codes that you think you'd do?

Otherwise take it to an apple store if one is near you and speak to them. They should know what to do.

thanks mate I think I'll do that at the Next Byte place (Apple retailer), cos Adelaide doesn't have an Apple store  ::)

I think I know two of the letters but the other two are a mystery. I'll keep at it though haha

>Why I don't set a password.

So easy to forget them :P no matter how much hardcore porn I have on my iPod I won't ever set a password.

I had to set a code because my 3yr old kept pinching my iPhone  at night and he eould just leave it in random places.
I just set my passcode as my birth year never forget that one.
