Duffield - a good smokey?

What do people think of Duffield from Fremantle as a smokey defender?

He has tonned up six times this year, and in his last 3 games has gone 113 (port at AAMI), 96 (WCE at home) and 134 (Adelaide at AAMI).

His run home includes Richmond at home, North Melbourne away and Melbourne at home.

My other choices I'm considering (that I can afford) include Hurn, Fisher and Rance, but I think Duffield is probably the best choice.

Any thoughts?

seems to be playin alot better with broughton out. I went broughton to duff 3 weeks ago and have been wrapped with his performances. current form he's prob your best bet. if Hurn wasn't getting tagged every week I'd say him.

Definitely a good smokey.
Remember he also had a few sub-affected games earlier in the year which lowered his average.

At his price I reckon Duffield is a steal. Carrying the ball out of defence and scoring very nicely, grab him for a nice POD!

I wouldn't personally with Lyin' as coach. Who knows if he'll even keep his spot. He should, but he should have been in the side ages ago and and wasn't. However, it could pay off as he's well suited to fantasy scoring. Best of luck but I won't be risking him.
