Gelsenkirchen (Schalke FC) and SpVgg Greuther Fürth are feeder clubs, but are both in the Bundesliga for the 2012/13 season

does anyone know if their agreement as parent and feeder club stay the same?

or are there more regulations teams have to follow now that they are in the same league?

Not sure. I know Barca have a second side called Barca B but they are in the second league...

One year may of been 2010/11 Barca B was promoted to the La Liga but werent aloud to go into the La Liga so remained in Div 2

Can someone explain to me what this all means?

The only thing I knew and understand so far is that Barcelona has a second side made of reserves that are in the second div...

That's just their reserves side, Madrid has the same deal going.

Luigi a feeder club is basically a club that gives first option on their players to their "parent" club. This means if they are going to accept a bid for one of their players from another club they let the parent club know and ask if they would like to place a bid of the same amount. If they do they accept the parent clubs bid first to give them first chance at getting the player. Parent clubs more often than not loan out their younger players to the feeder clubs too to get experience.

Feeder clubs are different to reserve sides like Madrid's and Barcelona's. They are a completely independent side from the other club and they just have an agreement regarding transfers, so they are allowed to be in the same division. United has some feeder clubs in the lower leagues of England and if they ever made it to the premier league they would be fine to play there ;)
