Chapman was restricted to light duties at training on Tuesday. The three-time premiership player performed run-throughs and skill work with club physio Mike Snelling early in the session.

"We haven't ruled him out, so training will be really important for him," Scott said.

"But unless we're absolutely sure he's right, we won't risk him."

There's also a little bit on Chapman in this article...

"Balme said Paul Chapman (calf), James Kelly (groin) and Joel Corey (hamstring) would all return to the Cats line-up after missing the Eagles clash last week, and that Tom Hawkins had recovered strongly after his concussion.

Sports medico Dr Peter Larkins said he believed Chapman's calf injury would keep him out longer.

"The thing with a calf injury is it's pretty rare to just miss one [week] and Chappy, with his history and his age, I reckon if it's true [that] he's tweaked a calf, he wouldn't be able to sprint or do full training on it this week," Larkins said."

More in this one as well

LF, that's the same article that Rico posted.  ;)

It's interesting that he was spotted at a medical centre last Friday. I'd have thought the club doctors would have been qualified to assess the extent of the injury but maybe he was seeking a second opinion?

The AFL and clubs often share content. I initially thought they were different too but then noticed the identical headline and saw they were both written by Adam McNicol.  :)

He didn't fly to Perth last week so he should be rested up, he'll play!
