OK so just PB and Nails holding us up.... again :) I will try to get thier confirmation ASAP. See below and Comment PLEASE

OK so once everyone is ready we could effectively start the draft at any time, however i will make the draft start up a "soft start" relaxing the time restrictions in the drafting rules ( FOR THE FIRST ROUND ONLY).

This way everyone can make their first pick when they are good and ready to, ( WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE DRAFT START).

Everyone having stated they are ready means taking your pick on any given day within a week seems a fair request.


* If the team we are up to has not taken their pick when the 7 days expires the 24 hour and 2 hour rule will come into effect giving them 2 hours to pick if online, 24 hours to pick if they are not.

** Just to clarify -

* The draft will start shortly after, when I have all teams confirmations.

* Teams will have 7 days from the start date to take their first round pick and for this 7 day period all draft rules time limits will be suspended.

* When the 7 days have expired OR when all teams have made their first pick, the NORMAL DRAFT RULES will come into effect as laid out in the RULE BOOK.

* The team who's turn it is to pick if the 7 days expires, will (UNDER THE NORMAL DRAFT RULES) which come into effect after the 7 days, have either 2 hours to pick if online, or 24 hours to pick if not online.

*All other drafting rules such as time limits, and skipping until you are on will be in effect after the complete first round of picks, or after 7 days from the start date, whichever is sooner.


ANYONE HAVE ANY OBJECTIONS TO THIS FORMAT OF STARTING THE DRAFT WITH THE RULES RELAXED TO ALLOW ALL COACHES MORE FLEXIBILITY ON WHICH DAY THEY START THE DRAFTING?

Please let me know if so otherwise I will aim to get the final teams confirmation and arrange a start date, which in essence could be immediate.

they are on I have spoken to PB. My concern in delaying starting this is 1. runs too far into off season, 2. clashed with national draft if it runs too slow due to everyone being on less in the off season. 3. May even have us drafting right over the off season and pre-season for the 3 drafts we have to do and may seriously impact our ability to have trade windows.

Still the decision to start my preference would be anytime between now and this weekend. With the relaxed time limits for the first round or for 7 days from the draft start date (whichever comes first).

IF PB and Nails don't want to start until next week, i will respect that decision however and set the draft start date for next Friday ( also with the 7 day relaxed time limits).

It's not a huge deal either way but due to the concerns I have listed above I just feel the sooner the better and why delay.

Nails ,all you had to do was name a thread and lock it :)  still that's all good, you have my PM have a chat with PB when you can and see what you guys think, as I said no pressure no one is going to force this to start and you guys are up first so I am not intending on starting the draft until i know you two will pick as soon as it starts ( given there is going to be the 7 days relaxed rules i don't want us to get to the end of the 7 days and no one has picked). That just means we start the draft 7 days later but with full rules in place. Might as well not bother providing the 7 days of relaxed rules.

So either your good to go now or this weekend or your not prepared to until next weekend.

Either option is fine and once you let me know I will post up the official start date with the "relaxed rule period" clearl posted as well so we all know when and how we are going to kick it off.
