if you look at the players average scores going after #2 it makes almost no difference where you are, in fact due to the drop after the top 2 scoring players and how long the players stretch out for afterwards it is probably beeter to be late than early as you get the next pick a lot sooner before the next drop off in players averaging.

still a lot of the top players are old too... who's to say cotchin redden selwood ect. ect. won't be more valuable next season or beyond than swan, watson, ablett - all getting on in years...

will be interesting to see who goes where in the draft, escpecially considering the ruck nightmare this season was in fantasy football.

swan or ablett arent going to win you a game if you cant field a decent ruckman.
