Damn it Sid and Tor. I was tossing up between those two and Thornton for my next pick. Knew who I should have taken now......

BB you need to re-pick thornton is de-listed and this time it is official, just realized you took him.

I suppose you can, there is no advantage to you in gaining a higher pick or anything so I see no reason to not allow it.

There is nowhere in the rules htat states you can't draft a delisted player, if it was higher in the draft i wouldn't allow it for the sake of not letting you harm your team, but down this low it can't make enough difference to matter.

Thanks Colli, I think that Thornton will get picked up in a draft and this late in the draft, I don't really think it is going to affect my team too much next year if he doesn't. Just to clear it up, if he isn't taken in a draft, would I still receive any compensation?

if he is not taken in the afl pre-season ( i think is the only way he can get picked up?). Then you will receive a pick in his place at the end of OUR rookie/pre-season draft.

basically if you have any players not on a list you get compensated at the end of OUR rookie/pre-season draft.

Regardless of how they end up "not on an AFL list".

The order of compensation picks is the order of the draft pick, e.g a player delisted taken in the initial draft at pick 270 gets his owner a compensation pick before a player delisted taken on the initial draft at pick 400.

OK seems fair, thanks for clearing that up.
