Bombers, West Coast, Carlton, Collingwood, Adelaide and Hawthorn. Take your pick from those as to who'll be top 4.

Reckon we'll win about 11 and lose about 4 in our run home, and that should be enough for a top 4 spot, probably higher at 17 and 5. Could go 18-4, but who knows. Relies a lot on injuries and luck.

>Bombers most injured side in the comp this season.
>I was right

If we had the same tiny amount of injuries over the course of the season Norf have had we'd be top 4.

Well whose fault are those injuries? You can't say that it's all bad luck...Torp just about sums it up (once he updates his profile pic + message underneath)

Haha.

BB I'm not sure, Bomber Boy seemed to be around a lot when you were winning then was quick to take off when things turned for the worst. Hmmm :P ;)

If St Kilda beat Geelong this week, Essendon will miss finals

Capper

why are they sad???? They get to go on holidays in September whilst our teams still have top play!!!!

There is another great thing that came from this game.

At the beginning of the year, my housemate and I had a bet.

I said, "North Melbourne will finish above Essendon on the ladder come the end of the season", and my housemate being the typical Essendon fan he is, he said, "Not a chance, no way".

So we decided to place a gentlemen's wager. Should Essendon finish higher on the ladder than I would have to buy my housemate a slab of craft beer (for those that are unaware of the term 'craft beer', Google it). Should North finish higher,he'd have to buy me one.

You can imagine how I felt come Round 10, when North was torn a new one by Buddy, and Essendon were 0.5% from sitting on top of the ladder.

After this weekends performance, I'm feeling slightly better. >:D >:D

RB, count your blessings whilst you can. The Kangas won't get past the first round of the finals... :)

Here is a quote from me in the Coaches board earlier this year...

Some interesting predictions above, and it was indeed very bold of you Cruise to state that the Pies won't make the GF ;) I have to agree with you on that too.

Hawthorn vs West Coast GF

Hawthorn for the Flag

Essendon to finish 10th or below :( Maybe they should get Knights back...

Sam Reid to win Coleman

Jobe Watson to win Brownlow

As you can see, some Essendon supporters are sensible...  :P

I got bagged for this, especially after our start, but its starting to come to fruition due to our lack of depth.
