Rock won it last year but he won't get this year IMO.

Pretty tough to decide, but I reckon my man Redden will take it out?

Rich maybe?  ???

Hanley a possibility this year? Has played some really good games for us. Probably Redden or Rockliff to win it though.

Rocky or Redden tbh.

Maybe Black...

Ringo

I would say from Hanley, Reddan, Rockliff or Black. Zorko may be an outside chance given his form in the number of games he has played and has probably figured in the points in all bar two of them.

I think Black the vetran is such a champion brownlow medalist three time premiership player norm smith medalist? and don't know how many b & f he has won but the point is you don't see him have a bad game very often :)

Windigo

Redden finishing the year off strong. Has to get it IMO.

Black will be top 3 or 2.

90 Dt points, a goal, 9 tackles & 16 possessions to half time.  ;D

Redden imo.

Yep, Redden a big chance. Rockliff, no, Black should poll good and Zorko should do well considering how many games he actually played.

Yeh I think Redden has it sown up now with a few big games over the last month or two.

Bit hard for key defender to pick up enough points for best and fairest. My selections in order would be Jack Reddan, Simon Black (yet again), Tom Rockliff and Dayne Zorko (despite not playing a full season would have racked them up in games he has played. Has rookie of the year sown up)

Good article here saying who will win the B & F according to the actual players.

Redden & Patfull seem to be the most popular choices.

Jack Redden:

Stats Wrap
Redden’s statistical output in 2012 was enormous - leading the Club in total disposals (549), tackles (143), and clearances (113). He also ranked in the top five in marks (108), goal assists (12), and inside 50s (62).

Most Memorable Performance
Redden went head-to-head against Adelaide’s Scott Thompson in Round 21 at the Gabba, and was clearly the Lions’ best in their upset victory. He had 30 touches, nine tackles and seven clearances to take the points over his highly fancied opponent.

Club Champion History
In only four seasons, Redden is a proven vote-getter on Club Champion night. He finished 5th in 2010 and backed it up last year with a career-best 3rd placing behind Tom Rockliff and Simon Black.

The Case For
Redden’s statistics speak for themselves, and his incredible tackle count will be looked upon favourably by the Match Committee. A particularly good final month of the season should see him come home strongly.

The Case Against
Was relatively quiet in the opening month of the season. Redden also had standout performances in some of the Lions’ biggest losses for the season (against Essendon, Collingwood and West Coast) - and votes will be much harder to come by in those games.

Read the article Windi.  Really surprised with the open support for Patfull. Deserved though and would not surprise if he took Jack to the wire.
