Serves us right for playing spuds and the selectors wearing light-blue tinted glasses. ::)

lowest rank in 3 years and also it becomes our lowest ever!  ;D
I fail to see your joy in this
Yeah how is that something you can be happy with??
Fairly sure Cicj wants a complete re-build/re-structure of the system...

i ant to know how Troy Coolly still has a job???

We got him after we lost the ashes and from then he hasnt performed and has just kept on getting higher up the rankings. What dirt has he got on one of the board members. Mcdermott was the best we have had for a while

http://www.cricket.com.au/news-list/2012/8/17/governance

Cricket Australia is to seek three independent Directors following an historic CA Extraordinary General Meeting decision today to modernise Australian cricket’s governance.

The EGM voted to replace CA’s historic, state-based Board of 14 Directors with a new, nine-person Board with three independent Directors and one each appointed by the six State Associations.

The six State Association appointed Directors will be: Wally Edwards, John Bannon, Earl Eddings, Dr Harrry Harinath, Michael Kasprowicz and Tony Harrison.

a step in the right direction!  :)

Its the one thing in Australian culture that NSW has over Victorians selection into the Australian cricket team. NSW players seem to waltz into a baggy green while its the opposite in Vic and the other states of austlalia.
Ive been frustrated by this for 30 years especially being brought up in Tassie when it took Boony 5 years to get into the team. Tubby Taylor 4 sheild games and Slater got a gig when nobody had ever heard of him. Austlalian cricket is littered with players that have never played for Australia - Jamie Siddons, Jamie Cox and even Lehman took forever to get in.
And now I have to put up with NSW supporters living in the ACT and I'm surrounded by them.

Looked at the schedule for this summer, we are ripped off. >:( Last year Adelaide got a Test match, and like heaps of ODI's, this season we've been ripped of everything, nearly. >:(

22nd - 26th November: Test vs South Africa (One of the 6 played, 3 vs RSA, 3 vs SL)
13th January: ODI vs Sri Lanka (One of 5 played)
No ODI vs West Indies: Canberra get an ODI of all places.

And in the domestic comp, our Big Bash matches:
13 December: vs Heat (That will be good, Roach, Watson, Vettori, Christian hopefully all playing)
23rd December: Really?? Gay time
27th December: Not much better than the 2 days before Christmas ::)

Add to that they've stripped the tri-Series, which was pretty decent last season. ::)

Tell me what tassie has been given before complaining about Adelaide being ripped off ;)

do you get to see the West Indies and South Africa? If you do it's already better than us. We had Sri Lanka last season, every week they seemed to be in Adelaide lol.
