On Petterd

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/afl/more-news/ricky-petterd-up-for-grab-at-second-chance/story-e6frf9jf-1226514345531

QuoteFORMER Melbourne forward Ricky Petterd has been invited to train with Richmond next week as he seeks to resuscitate a career that has stalled at just 24.

Maybe, just maybe, we may even recruit him. McCarthy trained with us and we were gonna pick him up before Port swooped as they had a pick before us. Petterd would be a welcome addition as a mid-sized forward and he's got plenty of talent.

yep wouldn't mind that tbh, it means we have a flowerload of small/medium forwards but any depth is good depth imo. he has plenty of talent to give to us so I'd be happy to pick him up.

not sure what this means for the careers of Nahas and Push Up though :(

Would be happy to have Petterd. Nahas will be fine, but not sure how this will affect King

Tbh I think he probably didn't have that long left in him anyways. We might try to keep using him as a back pocket/lock down player in the forward line occasionally or even as sub but I think he will get very limited game time next year :(

I'm pretty sure he's arguably one of the most loved at the club, he just brings something not many others do. We all love Push-up though, so hopefully the recent influx of players doesn't spell the end for him. Has had his fair share of injuries lately, but if he goes down again, who knows. Nahas should be fine, will be rotated through I'm sure.

Yer, I like Push Up he always seems to lift the team. Might be a good sub option if he can't break into the 22

Would be a quality sub option I reckon. Definitely has what it takes to make an impact.

We do have a habit of not always playing 4 quarters of footy too. Keen to see the look of the 22 come Round 1.

Jroo

What are your thoughts on Josh Toy? Sign him for nothing and is meant to be a gun.
We could be one of the clubs Intrested and on BigFooty, someone reckons he has signed with us  :o   ::)
I then saw his Twitter account and saw this
Richmond Surporter 1: Josh Toy do you like the Tigers?

Josh Toy: why is that?? :)

Richmond Surporter 2: cause you would look good in #yellow&black

Josh Toy: appreciate that, we shall see!!

Nige

If we sign him for nothing, then he's totally worth it.

If it's serious enough already, I'm sure he would have said or done something. But also, regardless of where he goes, whichever club it may be, I'm sure they'll look after him.

I do t reckon its that serious
Here is what he said when the articles came out about his heart problems
“@JoshuaToy_20: Is relatively disappointing to see articles written which haven't thoroughly investigated the information they use!!”

Kellogscrunchynut

Cristiano Ronaldo had heart problems now look at him, we could do a lot worse than picking up Toy.
