Cloke will take a fair chunk out of our salary cap and will not be a quick trade to complete, although the other two could come across for a late round pick. Whoever we get in the end you will know that Hardwick will have done his research and they will be a big part of our future.

i disagree; cloke would be terrific up forward for us, take a bit of heat off of jacky.

chaplin... probably not so much, i reckon with grimes, rance, posty we probably have enough strength back there...

but interesting;y, newman said after the game last night the player he thinks we need to bring in would be another experienced defender!

Another experienced defender is necessary IMO.

Rance is good, but lacks composure sometimes that can only come with experience.

Yer I reckon we will get Cahplin. Will be good for us. Also Astbury, Griffiths and Post will be good replacements if any of them miss games.

Not a fan of Chaplin but wouldn't mind him. However, I'd be happy to see Chris Knights up forward. If one or both come, hopefully they find success like Houli and Grigg have.

So he's basically the same size as Rance and Grimey... Do you reckon we need that many big talls? I don't really know enough about him to judge him...

Agree with most of it.
I think with another pre season for Astbury and Griffiths one of them could go forward and take McGuanes spot and I think Chris Knights will also be at Richmond next year and could take O'Hanlons spot.
But otherwise agree with the rest!

yeah that's true, there was also talk that guan could bugger off since his a free agent next year.. but he's getting to that point of his career and that age that yes i do agree that astbury or griffiths could take his spot!
