Yep. can honestly say we have never had this depth since ive been alive

We had a solid team in 1995.
Yeah I was only about 6 years old back then but was speaking to my old man and he was still Iffy on a few players.
Literelly the only blokes I dont want to see on the ground now are McGuanne and Jackson. I could usually roll off about another 6 atleast lol

I'm all for that, just don't wanna see Post on the ground along with McGuane and Jackson like quinny said.

Sherman has parted ways with the Dogs after a trade could not get done.
What are your thoughts on us picking him up in the PSD

nah no need for imo. bit of a dickhead as well.

Yeah, he is.  I played one season of footy with him when I was 10 and played cricket against him all through highschool.

Post still has age on his side. I still remember seeing his first few games and thinking he would become a star. He probably wont but im not to worried about him yet. Jacko and McGuanne have had years. They have gone past their use by date

He still can become one, in my opinion. Jackson and McGuanne, on the other hand...

Ricky Petterd delisted by the Dees this morning... Still got a few spots to fill on our list, reckon we'll give him a shot as a delisted free agent?

Surprising. I would definitely be happy picking him up

Yeah silly decision imo. Definitely has potential and i think he'd be a good pickup as well

The spots we freed up on our list:

1. Knights
2. Chaplin
3. Edwards
4. Pick #9
5. Pick #29
6. Pick #31
7. Pick #50
8.
9.

So we still have two spots to fill... My guess is (depending on whether Grundy slips to us in the draft, unlikely) we'll have a look at maybe Seaby or Stephenson as a gap-filler as a delisted FA... Leaving room for one more player, wouldn't mind giving Petterd a crack.

Could we get one more spot if we put Newman on the veteran list?

So we'd have two spots with the players we've recruited, plus the draft picks. Should be interesting to see if we do look at getting Seaby or Orren as a back up. Also, I honestly would mind seeing the Tigers pick up Petterd or Cook.

Probably but I'm not absolutely sure how all that stuff works...

I think you can have veterans either on the list of 38 or veterans outside that list.
